How Kiddash works
Kiddash is a free iPhone app that turns your kids’ school emails, coach texts, flyers and documents into one organized view. Forward an email or snap a flyer, and Kiddash pulls out the date, time, place and kid. Everyone who helps, from your partner to the grandparents, sees the same plan.
Kiddash in four steps
- Send it in. Forward a school or activity email to Kiddash’s forwarding address. You can also add a coach’s message, snap a flyer or upload a document.
- Kiddash organizes it. It finds the dates, times, places and to-dos, and turns them into events and tasks.
- You check it. Review what Kiddash found, change anything you like, and save.
- Your family sees it. The event shows up in Today and This Week, tagged by kid, for everyone you’ve invited.
What you can send to Kiddash
| What you get | Example | How to add it |
|---|---|---|
| School email | Picture day on October 14 | Forward it |
| Activity or camp email | Fall soccer schedule | Forward it |
| Coach or teacher message | Practice moved to 5 PM | Add the message in the app |
| Paper flyer | Book fair next week | Snap a photo |
| PDF or document | Camp packing list | Upload it |
What you see each day
- Today: what’s happening and what needs you.
- Weekly briefing: a short summary of the week ahead, like “Both kids have music Wednesday, and Maya has soccer camp Thursday and Friday.”
- By kid: the whole family at once, or one kid at a time.
- This week and beyond: what’s coming, so nothing sneaks up on you.
Kiddash stays calm by design. Most of the screen is quiet. A single amber flag appears only when something needs you, like a class that overlaps pickup.
Share the load
- Invite everyone who helps: your partner, grandparents and caregivers.
- Assign a driver to each event, so everyone knows who’s going.
- Create tasks, like “Sign the field trip form,” and assign them to anyone in the family.
- Export any event to your calendar, so you never double-book.
Your inbox stays yours
Kiddash never connects to your email account. It only sees the emails you choose to forward, so you decide what goes in.
A dashboard, not another calendar
A calendar shows time slots. Kiddash shows what matters: what’s happening, what needs you and what changed. Keep your calendar for work and life, and export kids’ events to it when you want them there.
On your iPhone and your computer
Kiddash is built for iPhone, where you check it on the go. A web app lets you plan the week from your computer.
